Here we will be able to provide you with all the information you will need for your family holiday at the Alpenhof.

The colourful ball pool is hidden in one of our play dens... but it is very easy to find if you just follow the happy gurgles and whoops of its greatest fans! Slide, hop, plunge into the ball pool: an absolute hit for our toddlers and pre-schoolers!

The entrance is, without a doubt, the hub of our family world - with cosy spots for being TOGETHER, exciting seating and snug play dens. A meeting place, melting pot and favourite spot of young and old alike. A place for free frolics, drinking tea, making friends and being scallywags.

A space tailor-made for boisterous capers, scrambling, being free - even if it’s raining outside! The new indoor play area at the Alpenhof is an absolute hit with the kids. With soft padding, tree trunks to climb, exciting viewpoints and lots of secret hiding places.

The play dens for toddlers and pre-schoolers are soft and cosy. Perfect for snuggling, reading or playing together. New play ideas and grinning faces can be seen regularly through the peepholes. And vice versa, the kids can keep an eye on mum and dad, too... and wave!

Dice, cheating, shuffling cards. With a practised poker face, pass on the Black Peter or make a hole in the Jenga tower. Our colourful toy collection is ideal for fun time TOGETHER as a family!

Listening to stories in a group of littlies is especially nice. Age-appropriate stories from picture books fire their imaginations and relax not only the little listeners.

A place where people can meet and enjoy themselves from early in the morning until late in the evening. Fun board games, a good book, a glass of red wine - and always close to the action. Parents can relax in comfort here, whilst the little ones enjoy themselves within view.

Fruity, refreshing and really cool. Little connoisseurs can taste their own drink creations in our cocktail mixing sessions. Strawberry, raspberry or banana? Mix-it-yourself tastes best!

...that is the idea behind our all-inclusive luxury board with buffet. Morning, noon and night the variety and creative presentation of our dishes will make your mouth water.

In our Stube you can enjoy rural South Tyrolean hospitality and good company. The wood panelling and original stove enhance the cosy atmosphere.

It’s all happening for pre-schoolers and adventurous kids in our colourful play paradise! This is thanks to the climbing wall and play kitchen, a creative painting island and challenging wall games, loads of great books, Lego bricks, board games and much more. 

There's always something going on in the Alpenhof craft room! There’s hammering and gluing, painting and decorating. The best place for little artists and craftsmen. We make jewellery and imaginative toys using materials from nature.

Our Happy disco has all the coolest beats and kids’ hits! Just whirl around or think up a fun dance. Little feet cannot keep still here - nor should they!

Unicorn, ice princess or forest fairy? Indian chief, panda, lion or Clown Happy? Face painting gives our little ones the chance to show us their funniest faces and slip into a whole new role. Tremendous fun!

Don’t forget to lick the spoon! It’s particularly tasty in the Alpenhof children’s kitchen. And, of course, the only things on the menu are the kids’ absolute favourites!

You can conjure the craziest figures and funniest imaginary animals from colourful balloon snakes. Incidentally, ... Clown Happy and his friends from the Alpenhof team are genuine balloon artistes - you’ll be astonished!

Laughing with friends at your regular table – our supervised dining is great fun. Your hungry little explorers will enjoy their favourite dishes day after day. 

Just perfect for playing, crawling and letting the imagination run wild. Everything here will stimulate your baby’s senses and curiosity. 

Because teenagers want to have fun and chill out on holiday too. The Funny Box Teenagers’ Club is the Alpenhof’s perfect place to hang out with lots of fun stuff to do.

Hot wheels and all the excitement of whizzing around the track – little racers can really go all out here. Dads will be green with envy.

Armed with buckets and cans younger and older kids can enjoy splashing about and getting soaked in this attraction. They can enjoy imaginative play and splash about to their hearts’ content. Where but the Alpenhof can you find anything like it?

Fun and healthy exercise, plenty of fresh air and the chance to try out those first rallies in a safe environment make this the perfect play attraction.

Yum... winding delicious dough around a branch, baking it over a crackling camp fire and then nibbling it fresh from the branch - stick bread is the absolute favourite snack of nature explorers and climbing fans.

Nibble-nibble, baa and moo... in summer there are loads of animal attractions in the Alpenhof petting zoo! No wonder that even the very littlest nature explorers love their daily natters with the animals.

The artistically designed climbing park in the Alpenhof is an attraction in itself. Balance, hop from tree to tree, swing through the air like Tarzan...adventure comes with the territory.

Balancing over barriers, juggling scarves and balls, building stone men. Balance training and agility games are a fixed part of our supervised leisure programme.

The multi-coloured turbo slide is the highlight of the holiday for younger and older water lovers alike. The fun gets under way from early spring and continues until late autumn.

Swim, slide and enjoy splashing about with Murmel the Marmot and Mitzi the Cow. Waves and excitement reach a peak in the heated children’s adventure pool in the indoor area of the Alpenhof Water World. 

In the Alpenhof Water World babies and toddlers will be as happy as can be splashing about in their own heated pool. How much fun is that!

Lie back and relax with a view of the Puster valley Dolomites and the warmth of the sun on your skin. The Panorama garden in the Family Hotel Alpenhof is a wonderful place to laze about, relax and enjoy life.

Using the most up-to-date cardio equipment, you can work out while enjoying the unobstructed panorama of the majestic peaks of the Dolomites. Take advantage of some child-free time to enjoy a really good work-out and revitalise.

Here you can enjoy time for yourself in an atmospheric setting. Pamper your whole body with invigorating sauna sessions and soothing massages. 

For those who wish to improve their wellbeing but don’t tolerate extreme temperatures the steam room is ideal. The combination of a lower temperature and higher humidity is beneficial for the respiratory tract and the skin.

Fragrant herbal aromas and a pleasant temperature of around 60°C make the organic herbal sauna a relaxing and circulation-boosting spa treatment.

The traditional Finnish sauna uses a high temperature (80-90°C) and low humidity. Through intensive perspiration the optimum level of detoxification is achieved, the circulatory system is activated and the immune system strengthened.

Even the busiest of bees and little ones who never want to leave the pool will love it. Pleasantly soothing temperatures, music and cool lighting effects invite you to relax.

Nobody likes washing and ironing on holiday but anyone who has travelled with babies and children will know how useful it is to be able to restore the holiday wardrobes of little rascals to their former glory. Washing machines and driers are available for use for a fee.

We make sure of that by providing ample parking free of charge.

A beautiful, easy walk – suitable for pushchairs and ideal for families with little ones – leads you to the appealing and idyllic Upper Fassa Valley. To our very own Alpenhof Alpine pasture. Here you can laugh and play beside babbling mountain streams...and try delicious Kaiserschmarrn pancakes.

Quick, agile and high as a bird! What would a summer holiday in Maranza be without a mountain adventure together? Lace up your hiking boots, pack your ruck-sack, and it’s off we go! Over hill and dale and across fragrant alpine meadows...

Archery is great fun! Who will hit the target? Armed with bows and arrows we head into the forest, where a 3D course with lots of different targets awaits.

Right then, how about a family horse-drawn carriage ride through Maranza’s panoramic mountain world? We set out with a leisurely 2 horse power and lots of tinkling of bells... over meadows, fields and along idyllic forest tracks. An adventure for young and old!

Courageous white-water pirates are in their element when rafting in South Tyrol's mountain streams. Don't worry - here, too, you start small: with a tour through calm waters, for example.

Pssst! In the forest you have to prick up your ears and be eagle-eyed. There’s lots to discover here. Which bird is that, singing so happily? Can you hear the woodpecker pecking? Which forest dweller do these tracks belong to?

The direct route from Maranza to Mühlbach operates daily until 18:40 (with a break for lunch). You can combine it with a flying visit to Mühlbach, a trip to the market or a delightful walk or bicycle tour.
