Ski Fun for Young and Old Alike
Only 200 meters from our hotel, you'll find the Ski Kindergarten with Magic Carpet and Practice Lift - the best way for children and beginners to get their "ski legs."
For more-advanced skiers, the aerial lifts are located about 1 km away (2 minutes by car.)
At the Gitschberg, you'll find broad, unobscured ski slopes. The ski terrain is suitable for both experts and beginners, so everyone is guaranteed to have a lot of fun. With the exception of one "Black" ski slope, the Gitschberg ski resort thus provides an extremely family-oriented experience!
At the Gitschberg, skiers and snowboard fans will love the 22 km of slopes with guaranteed snow from early-December till Easter (thanks to modern snow cannons.)
Snowshoe hikes, fun-filled bobsledding, easy walks on foot, and romantic rides in horse-drawn sleds offer a variety of exciting and/or relaxing activities to enjoy when you've had enough skiing. Thus, even non-skiers are promised a high time!

Children under the age of 8 years: 7 a day (day ticket!), otherwise You'll get a free ski pass, in case one parent acquired a ski-pass for the same period.
We will pick up your children after the ski class and bring them back to the Alpenhof.
There, they can enjoy lunch* together. Our child supervisor will then watch over your children until 5:30 p.m. Thus, dear parents, you can enjoy your vacation without a care, skiing, undertaking winter hikes, and visiting authentic Alpine huts for refreshments.

Every Saturday, a ski instructor comes to the hotel from the Gitschberg Ski and Snowboard School and explains the classes offered. Additionally, our hotel can also lend you the complete ski equipment your children will need (except on Christmas / New Year's Day and during the Mardi Gras)!
