The skiing school, two ski rental agencies, and the ski pass office are located directly at the Gitschberg aerial tram station,
and can be reached from our hotel in two minutes by car (approx. 1.5 km away). The ski kindergarten and the classes for beginners
are conducted by the skiing school at the aerial lift in our village (200 meters from our hotel). Advanced skiers can go up the Gitschberg.
The Gitschberg Skiing and Snowboarding School
A skiing instructor from the Gitschberg Skiing and Snowboarding School comes to our hotel every Saturday and explains the available classes.
That's a good opportunity to enroll your children and pay in cash..
- Group classes for beginners / advanced sportsmen for adults or children:
5 Days of ski class with a final race and awards ceremony. The class is from 10:00 a.m. till 12 noon or from 12:30 p.m. till 2:30 p.m. Fee: € 95
- Private instructions: Costs € 32 per person; € 10 for every additional person.
NEW Pick-up service for children!
We'll pick up your children after the ski class and bring them back to the Alpenhof for you. There, they can enjoy lunch* with the other kids.
Afterwards, our children supervisor will take care of the kids until 5:30 p.m.
Surcharge: € 10 per child / 5 days
Lunch: When reserving an all-included package, it's included in the price. Otherwise, it will be billed separately according to your child's age.

Ski Rental:
For your children, we offer rental at the hotel of all of the ski equipment they'll need (except at Christmas / New Year's Eve and during Mardi Gras). Fees: approx. € 40 for six days per child.
For adults, there are two ski rental agencies in the village.
