The sunny plateau of Maranza is ideal for
mountain-biking as an alternative to hiking. Some tours start directly outside our house. The ideal surroundings for enjoying the fresh summer air during your cycling tour.
A
cycling tour from Rio di Pusteria to the Puster Valley in the direction of Brunico is also suitable for small children from age 4-5, and also the tour from
San Candido to Lienz in East Tyrol can be done with children. You return by train!

In the Isarco Valley, the cycling path from Vipiteno to Bressanone and further on to Bolzano and to Lake Garda is a beautiful tour. Here you can also switch to the train at any time.
We rent
mountain-bikes for adults directly in the house. We have

Tour tips:
- Maranza – Moser Hut – Maranza: short round tour from Maranza to the upper Moser Hut (1965m) and on the alternative path back to Maranza. Difference in altitude: 473 m | Length: 9 km | Duration: approx. 1 hour
- Maranza – Valles – Spinga: from Maranza (1446m) shortly downhill and then uphill to 1802 m of altitude. Finally the downhill route with a difference in altitude of 1000 m down to the Valles Valley and to Spinga until reaching 792 m of altitude and a small ascent with a difference in altitude of 682 m before returning to Maranza. Difference in altitude: 1,312m | Length: 27.8 km | Duration: approx. 3 hours
- Freeride Trail Herrnsteig: from the mountain station in Riscone to the valley station. From the peak of the 2272 m high mountain the trail leads down in a superflow with a panoramic view to the edge of the forest, where steep turns, various jumps and tricky root parts await you. The highlight awaits you at the valley station of Riscone beside the renowned Funline: a new 13 x 17 m large pumptrack for fans of freeride cycling. Cycling fun: about 30 minutes | Length: 8 km | Difference in altitude: 1,200 m
